Victoria Beckham plays with pastels for spring 18

The designer was supported by her family at Sunday's show

Victoria Beckham has served up a collection full of pretty pastels for spring/summer 2018. The British fashion designer presented her latest collection as part of New York Fashion Week on Sunday, with her husband David Beckham and son Brooklyn both perched on the front row.

Merging subtle sorbet hues with feminine silhouettes, the show opened with a model walking the runway in a yellow shirt dress with a structured rose-pink pencil skirt, with the outfit accessorised with lavender high heels. Next up was a model sporting a short-sleeved white silk shirt with burnt red fitted skirt, while a white shirt and seafoam-blue A-line skirt combination followed.

A model wearing a lilac suit comprised of a large blazer and skinny trousers certainly caught attention, with the look matched with a lavender shirt, pale green high heels and dark green earrings. But a highlight had to be a light pink shirt and matching trousers worn with a coral-hued jacket, as was a beige trench coat with ruffled lapels and belt which was accessorised with white trousers and simple black sandals.

It wouldn't be a Beckham fashion show without some monochromatic touches, with the designer also including a flowing white suit with black buttons which was finished with glittery green flats, and a sleeveless black wrap dress complemented with black trousers. The collection was also interspersed with splashes of scarlet red, such as a dress featuring long sleeves and a plunging neckline as well as a silky red suit with black button detailing.

To add a little further drama, Beckham concluded the show with a model wearing a black dress with low neckline and dramatic split hemline, before she took her final bow dressed in a pair of boyfriend Levi jeans and a simple white T-shirt.
