Karlie Kloss launching TV career with movie-themed talk show

Karlie Kloss has landed her own talk show. The model and keen coder will front Movie Night with Karlie Kloss on cable channel Freeform, which as the name suggests, will see Karlie watching films with some of her superstar pals. She'll also chat to her famous guests, which includes the likes of models Kendall Jenner, Ashley Graham and Martha Hunt, as well as Serena Williams, Rachel Bilson and Ruby Rose.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Karlie posted a snap of herself reclining on two white leather sofas under a neon sign of her new TV show logo. "#MovieNightWithKarlie and friends coming to your living room this winter on @Freeform!!!" she captioned the image, adding TV, popcorn and friend emojis.

Her followers were quick to congratulate the 25-year-old, with 80,000 Instagram users also liking the post.

Fan pages have also added photos taken on set, including one of a pouting Karlie and plus-size beauty Ashley, and another featuring Kaia Gerber sitting on Karlie's white sofa, using the hashtag #MovieNightWithKarlie."

Karlie previously tried her hand at presenting in 2013 when she hosted the MTV Movie Awards pre-show.

Tyra Banks has paved the way for models to break into television. The former Victoria's Secret Angel swapped the runway for the small screen when she created iconic show America's Next Top Model in 2003, and now also hosts America's Got Talent. And she spent five seasons fronting her own talk show, as well as having numerous other acting credits to her name.
