Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley appeared on Zoe Ball on Sunday and delighted fans with her choice of attire – she wore a white and red striped dress by Topshop, which retails at a purse-friendly £49. The elegant dress is made in a flowing fabric and showed off the Coronation Street actress’s slim figure and it also featured voluminous cape sleeves for added va-va-voom. The diagonally placed stripes gave it both a statement and contemporary edge, and the pretty blonde actress added obligatory nude high heel shoes from ASOS. The 34-year-old wore her blonde hair slicked back in a ponytail and accentuated her big eyes with smokey eye makeup. The actress’s gorgeous look was put together by talented stylist-to-the-stars Martine Alexander – the professional who also turns works with Kym Marsh Lucy-Jo Hudson and Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington.

The northern-based actress recently revealed on an edition of Celebrity Catchphrase that she found her first day on set of Coronation Street "terrifying".
Reminiscing on the memory, she recalls that she soon made friends with the cast and revealed that they were like her family, and felt comfortable as soon as she arrived on set. "It was terrifying, my first scene in the Rovers. But they make you feel so welcome," she said.
Catherine will be leaving the popular soap in the summer – but has said that she would love to return in the future. The actress referred to herself as a "huge Corrie fan" and added that she would "love to see Eva wreck a bit more havoc further down the line."
