The Duchess of Edinburgh certainly knows how to put a stylish twist on any ensemble, and she showed that off in spades on Thursday during her latest engagement.
The wife of Prince Edward headed off to Stockbridge, Hampshire, in order to mark the upcoming 20th anniversary of the LEAF Open Farm Sunday. The royal serves as the honorary president of the Linking Environment and Farming (LEAF), and she was at the organisation's Waitrose Farm on the Leckford Estate.
Sophie made sure to turn heads when she arrived, with the glam royal opting to wear multiple colours in her outfit. Alongside her tan blazer, she was also seen wearing a blue floral-patterned blouse, from Penelope Chilvers, and a pair of green trousers, the perfect ensemble for a day on the farm!
A description of her blouse on the Penelope Chilvers website reads: "Effortlessly romantic and consciously crafted, the Monday Blouse is a fresh staple for every season in indigo blue and primrose yellow.
"Printed in our own vintage inspired print, the Monday Blouse is light, breathable and easy to wear — the kind of piece that works perfectly with our Lancaster Denim Skirt, or under a favourite knit. Cut in 100% cotton with a relaxed silhouette, it’s an effortless everyday style for spring through high summer."
However, despite the multitude of colours that Sophie opted for when heading out, due to their muted tones, nothing ended up clashing, and she looked as resplendent as she always does.
During the engagement, she was seen helping with the preparations, hoisting a banner and helping with a food display. She was also seen chatting with volunteers of all ages during her time on the farm.
Sophie's stylish outings
Last week, the 61-year-old royal wowed onlookers at the Devon Country Show, rocking a brand new outfit that had a distinctively bohemian edge.
Stepping out, Sophie wore a delightful, paisley-printed skirt and was made in a bold terracotta colour. Despite the flowing hem, the skirt has a fixed waistband that nestled comfortably on her hips, and the Kent-born royal accessorised it with a low-slung, gold glittering belt.
She was also seen stepping out at the Chelsea Flower Show. The blonde royal attended alongside Edward and opted for a candy pink outfit from luxury brand Theory, in the form of a pair of tailored trousers, with a matching trench coat in the same pastel hue.
The trench featured a tie-waist belt, which Sophie removed for a more streamlined look, and the wide-leg cut of her trousers also helped to create an elongated silhouette.
