Queen Camilla battled the heat in Norfolk on Wednesday in the most gorgeous green summer dress of dreams. The royal joined her husband, King Charles, at the first RHS Sandringham Flower Show on 22 July, held on the Sandringham Estate, wearing a flattering bold heatwave-approved outfit that was as practical as it was stylish.

Camilla looked lovely in the bold green paisley 'Deborah' dress by womenswear label, Lexy London, which retails for £245. The unlined cotton frock was a midi length and the perfect lightweight choice for spending a day outdoors in the warm weather.

TThe vibrant long-sleeved dress featured a modest ruffled neckline, a flared skirt and inset pockets for a practical finish. Camilla complemented her summertime look with accessories she already had in her wardrobe, as identified by Royal Fashion Police on Instagram.

The royal carried the Rixo 'Milana' raffia bag and wore a pair of stylish £275 suede wedges by Eliot Zed.

Camilla's penchant for patterns

Camilla is not one to shy away from a bold pattern for public outings, even including the occasional animal print in her rotation.

For a visit to a cancer treatment centre in central London in April 2024, the royal wore a floaty leopard print dress with a delicate ruffled neckline. She paired the statement print with a sensible pair of heels and opaque tights.

While attending a reception at Clarence House to celebrate Medical Detection Dogs in May, Camilla wore a bright raspberry red frock with the most beautiful blossom print. The bespoke 'Smocked Jersey Shirt Dress' midi dress by designers Anna Valentine and Fiona Clare was complemented with nude heels for the occasion.

Charles looked dapper next to his wife at the flower show on Wednesday in a smart cream suit and purple tie. The royal couple arrived for the event in a horse-drawn carriage and stopped to greet royal fans during a walkabout on the grounds.

While meeting with the crowd, Charles shared a touching moment with one royal fan who pointed out the monarch's resemblance to his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

"You look so much like your mum," the royal was told. The royal muffled a one-word response, appearing to take the comment well as he stopped to chat briefly.
