On Tuesday, Queen Camilla attended a reception at Clarence House to celebrate Medical Detection Dogs. Looking as resplendent as ever, the chic royal shunned bespoke creations from her beloved designers, Anna Valentine and Fiona Clare, and instead wore a stunning dress from luxury high street store, Boden.
Following in the footsteps of her royal relative, the Princess of Wales, who has a plethora of items from the UK-based brand, Camilla donned the 'Smocked Jersey Shirt Dress' in a delightful raspberry red.
The button-down design featured a statement, decorative blossom print, and she expertly styled the ensemble with nude heels. The dress has since flown off the virtual shelves, with only sizes six and eight left available to purchase.
Camilla's high street fits
This is the second time the royal has worn a high street dress this year. Channelling 'My Fair Lady' monochrome, the mother-of-two held a reception for the final of the BBC's creative writing competition, 500 Words, at Windsor Castle, on 25 February. She looked incredibly glamorous in her monochrome dress from ME+EM, a favourite of the royals, including the Duchess of Edinburgh.
The dress was a gorgeous piece, made from what the brand describes as a "fluid and matte modern crepe with cream trimming," and it features an adjustable neckline and voluminous sleeves, perfectly blending a modern fit with a timeless style.
As always, she accessorised with her signature jewellery, including her Alhambra bracelets from Van Cleef & Arpels and her gold plate with the initials of her grandchildren through her first marriage.
In 2024, the royal was seen leaving a restaurant in the Scottish village of Ballater with members of her family.
Royal fans are so used to seeing her donning pretty dresses and designer handbags with a variety of stunning jewels, so it made a refreshing change to see her looking so casual in a chic puffer jacket in a bright, vibrant green shade from Uniqlo. Camilla was seen wearing the sellout green version, teaming it with skinny jeans, a simple black top and smart loafers.
