Princess Charlene was the picture of poise in head-to-toe white for a recent formal gathering at the Prince's Palace of Monaco as she showed off her latest hair transformation.

The royal was effortlessly elegant in a sleek white power suit as she posed for pictures alongside her husband, Prince Albert II, and ambassadors and representatives of the Council of Europe for a special reception. Charlene looked angelic in the tailored double-breasted blazer and co-ordinated trousers by luxury Italian fashion house Etro, as identified by Royal Fashion Police on Instagram.

The slim-fit jacket featured brilliant gold buttons on the front and was just as practical as it was fashionable, with slide slip pockets. Charlene complemented her business chic attire with a pair of co-ordinated white pointed-toe heels that peeked out beneath the hem of her trousers.

Princess Charlene's flicky bob

The royal's bob looked so grown out as she wore her hair down, nearly touching her shoulders. While she's previously styled the above-the-shoulders cut pin-straight and in elegant up-dos, this time she flicked the ends upwards and away from the face for a sleek finish.

The hair styling was incredibly different to the Old Hollywood waves she wore to the 77th Red Cross Ball in July, and made her hair look even longer now.

Hair transformation

Princess Charlene's hair has gone on quite the journey since marrying into the royal family 15 years ago. She's embraced fringes, blunt bobs and even a half-shaved look.

In May, the royal switched up her usually straightened and slicked-back locks for shoulder-length waves, which was the longest it had been since 2019. Suzie McGill, an award-winning hairstylist who has over 30 years of experience in the hair industry, told us of Charlene's new look: "Shoulder-length styles like these are a great choice for over-40s, as they give the illusion of thicker, healthier hair."

"Furthermore, these styles are low-maintenance, fun, and extremely versatile for a variety of different occasions. Waves are great for disguising any thinning hair, making it appear thicker."
