The Princess of Wales was the picture of elegance on Tuesday morning as she dropped her son, Prince George, off at Eton College for his first day of secondary education.
Marking the milestone with fashion, the mother of three looked expertly stylish, despite the heavy rain. Carrying a sizeable umbrella, the royal donned a beautiful, bottle-green dress she first wore in 2023, by one of her favourite brands, Emilia Wickstead.

Kate's school run jewellery
For a final elegant touch, Kate shunned her regular jewellery look of dainty, finely designed pieces, instead opting for an ultra-bold look that was deemed a little out of character.

Although Kate has worn these pieces separately, she's never worn them together. This could be due to the fact that they are both deemed statement jewellery pieces.

However, Kate, in her own innate way, made the combination chic. Both pieces, although bold, mirrored one another with their variation of links, and they otherwise amped up her fuss-free dress.

This is the second time this year that Kate has made a statement with her jewels. In February, ahead of Valentine's Day, Kate headed to Lambeth Palace to meet the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury.
