The new MAFS series is set to be the longest ever as show bosses extend the season's run. According to Metro, season eight could run for around eight weeks, which means an extra seven days of explosive drama and heartwarming moments between the contestants.

During an exclusive interview with HELLO! back in December, expert Mel Schilling was asked if fans will see some new changes to the format. "Absolutely," said the dating coach. "I've just been in Australia filming series ten of the Aussie one and I've got to say, there's certainly some new twists coming up in the Aussie one and if history is anything to go by, when we do something new in Australia, we tend to follow suit in the UK.

"So I would suggest there are a number of twists coming in the new season, so watch this space."

We also expect Mel will return to help the new couples as they embark on their new relationships, alongside fellow experts Paul C Brunson and Charlene Douglas. Although, Channel 4 has yet to confirm this.
