Another Tess and Claud moment for the books
Tess and Claudia had another great segue with Claudia being disappointed to learn she wasn't doing a showdance. See some of the couple's best moments over the years here...
Recreating perfection
Amber and Nikita brought back their jive for the final, the first dance they scored a 40 on. Will it be second time lucky for the star again?
Amber's final feedback
"I'm just sad that's the last time I get to see you dance for free," Craig mused as he gave his final comments, while Anton lamented how the floor would "miss" Amber. Motsi said she wanted to see Amber in Broadway and concluded by calling her a "super, super girl".

Amber closed on a high, with the performer managing to secure a perfect score for her final routine.
It's a throwback for George's final dance
George took us back to Week 2 when he recreated his paso doble, and it's clear how much he's advanced since he performed it back in October. An amazing dancer has been born!
'Vast improvement' for the judges
Craig noted how the dance was a "vast improvement" for George, while Motsi said how she could feel the power that the content creator had brought to the dance. Shirley said it was like: "George the Beginner, to George the Warrior."
George's final score
George will sadly not finish the series with a perfect score, as Craig only gave the routine a '9'. However, the star finishes with a solid set of 39s.
Karen's glorious finale
Karen's jive was her dance, and she showed that as she brought it back from Week 1. The dance that started her journey ends it, and she better get that perfect score for it.

Motsi ended up standing up and dancing for Karen and Carlos, and called the pair "incredible". Shirley wanted to invite Karen to teach her students jive and Anton noted their "synergy".
Anton gets emotional
Anton has been on Strictly as long as Tess, and he got emotional as he reflected on the star's final show. I need a tissue back here as well.
Tears for the final scores
Karen and Carlos got another perfect score for their jive, but it was Carlos who had us in tears before. He was emotional as he praised Karen and how he's improved him as a person. While we disagree that he was self-centered, the star showed his vulnerability, and he had Claudia in tears as she comforted him.
Strictly stars return
It's always a joy to see the couples return to the score, and we saw some of our favourite moments, including Harry's press-ups, and Ellie's Couple's Choice. And we even saw La Voix's pony finally work!
Royal cameo
The Duchess of Edinburgh made a surprise cameo in a round-up of Strictly fans, with the royal praising model Ellie Goldstein, who has Down syndrome. "I'm Patron of MENCAP and Ellie is one of our amazing supporters," Sophie said. "She has dispelled quite a number of perceptions of people with learning disabilities."
Tess and Claudia emotional
Following a tirbute to them, Tess Daly was visibly emotional as she thanked viewers for all their support during the years.
Camilla's message
The Queen also made Tess and Claudia cry as she shared a special message, read by Craig Revel Horwood. "Dear Tess and Claudia, as you prepare to take your final twirl, I just wanted to say thank you on behalf of the millions who watch you each week," the message read. "I have often thought that Strictly is not so much a show about dancing as about friendships: the bonds forged, the struggles overcome and the joy sharedin undertaking a joint endeavour.
"If that is true, then perhaps yours has been the greatest Strictly partnership of all. The warmth, compassion and sheer happiness you have radiated with and from each other has been at the heart of the show’s success. I think I speak for everyone when I say you have been utterly fab-u-lous.
"I wish you both every success in wherever life’s journey takes you next. But as one who has appreciated its lifelong benefits, do promise us one thing: Keeeeeeeep dancing!With warmest gratitude and admiration, Camilla R."

History made
A lot of history is made tonight, Karen is the first footballer to win the show, while Carlos makes history as the first openly gay winner, and the first Asian man to lift the trophy. So proud!
