The BBC has unveiled Reputation, a new six-part legal drama starring Naomie Harris and Christina Hendricks, with filming now underway for the series set to air on BBC One.

Written by Anya Reiss and produced by The Forge, the courtroom drama follows formidable lawyer Lena, played by Naomie, as she takes on the celebrity case of the decade, representing global pop star Davina Knight, portrayed Christina.

Davina releases a provocative song accusing her former husband, played by Kyle Soller, of abusive behaviour and he retaliates.

The series follows as the couple's breakdown as it spirals into a public libel battle. As PR teams mobilise and social media fuels public outrage, the case becomes a toxic spectacle where truth is distorted for clicks and reputations are fought over in real time.

The British actress said of the new series: "I was hooked from page one of Reputation. It's so rare to read scripts with the wit and flair of Anya’s writing and I knew straight away that I wanted to play Lena."
