Several former residents of Wisteria Lane had a reunion recently, as they attended the first-ever Desperate Housewives fan convention in Paris.

Stars including Marcia Cross, Nicolette Sheridan, Brenda Strong, James Denton, Doug Savant and Andrea Bowen attended 'The Desperate Con' for a weekend of fan events and Q&As.

Desperate Housewives became an instant global phenomenon when it aired in 2004 and won multiple Emmys, Golden Globes and SAG awards during its eight-year run.

A lot has happened in the sixteen years since it ended. Here's a look at what the stars of the show are doing now.

Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria has branched out into producing and directing since the show ended

Eva Longoria's career has gone from strength to strength since she played Gabby Solis. The actress has branched out into other avenues, producing the TV shows Devious Maids (2013-2016) and Telenovela (2015-2016).

She has continued to act, with recent appearances including the 2024 show Land of Women and the 2025 action film War of the Worlds.

She made her feature film directorial debut in 2024 with Flamin' Hot and she also hosts her own travel series, beginning with Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico in 2023.

Eva married her husband Jose Bastion in 2016 and the couple welcomed their son Santiago in June 2018.

Marcia provided Desperate Housewives fans with some of the show's most memorable storylines through her role as the prim and proper Bree Van De Kamp.

Since then, she has made sporadic appearances in shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Monarch.

Her largest role since Housewives was playing Claire Haas in the thriller series Quantico which ran for three seasons before ending in 2017.

In 2018, Marcia revealed she had been diagnosed with anal cancer and chose to go public with her health battle after reading that many people with anal cancer are embarrassed about their diagnosis. She successfully completed treatment and has been in remission since 2018.

Felicity Huffman

Felicity Huffman, who played permanently stressed-out mother Lynette Scavo, found herself in the media spotlight for all the wrong reasons in 2019 when she was named as one of the people involved in the college admissions scandal.

The actress paid $15,000 to the scheme's mastermind William 'Rick' Singer who then recruited an exam proctor to raise her daughter Sophia's SAT scores without her knowledge so she would get into a top university.

Felicity pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud as well as honest services mail fraud. She spent eleven days in prison in October 2019.

The star has returned to acting since the scandal and recently appeared in the medical drama Doc as a main cast member for season two.

Teri Hatcher

Teri Hatcher, who played girl next door Susan Delfino, has made appearances on several shows including Smallville, The Odd Couple and Supergirl since Desperate Housewives.

She reunited with James Denton, who played her husband Mike Delfino, in the 2021 Hallmark movie A Kiss Before Christmas.

She has appeared in several other TV films in recent years including How to Fall in Love by Christmas and The Killer Inside: The Ruth Finley Story.

Nicolette Sheridan

Nicolette Sheridan starred in Dynasty in 2018

Nicolette Sheridan left Desperate Housewives in 2009 after five seasons playing maneater Edie Britt.

She has acted occasionally since then, most notably appearing in the 2017 reboot of Dynasty for two seasons playing Alexis Carrington, the character made famous by Joan Collins in the 1980s show.

Her most recent on-screen appearance was in the 2023 TV film Ladies of the '80s: A Divas Christmas.

Neal McDonough

Neal McDonough made a brief but very memorable appearance as Edie Britt's unhinged husband Dave Williams in season five.

The actor has been one of the most prolific stars from the show in the years since, appearing in multiple films including Captain America: The First Avenger, Sonic the Hedgehog and Apex with Bruce Willis.

He currently stars on the crime drama series Tulsa King alongside Sylvester Stallone.

Andrea Bowen

Andrea is known to Desperate Housewives fans as Susan Mayer's daughter Julie.

Since the show ended, she has starred in several TV movies and made appearances on shows like Scandal and Station 19.

In 2024, Andrea married Josh Zuckerman, who played the 'Fairview Stranger' Eddie Orlofsky on season six. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in late 2025.

Vanessa Williams

Vanessa Williams was a later addition to the Desperate Housewives main cast, playing Lynette's college friend Renee Perry for the final two seasons.

She has kept busy in the years since with appearances on shows like Modern FamilyBroad City and The Good Wife.

Vanessa also served as one of the judges on drag queen singing competition Queen of the Universe, hosted by chat show star Graham Norton.

Most recently, she has taken on the role of Miranda Priestly in the West End production of The Devil Wears Prada.
