The 2026 TV Awards season is upon us, and this year's nominees are a solid mix of newcomers and returning shows, with The Pitt and Hacks as well as The Diplomat, Paradise, and Slow Horses, and Only Murders in the Building, and Shrinking, going up against Pluribus, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Task, and Widow's Bay, and Margo's Got Money Troubles.

Heated Rivalry's Connor Storrie has also scooped his first-ever Emmy nomination for his genuinely brilliant turn as a host on Saturday Night Live. His February 28, 2026 episode featured his Heated Rivalry co-star Hudson Williams, musical guests Mumford & Sons, as well as an original character created by Connor during his days at clown school.

"SNL was such a 'pinch me' moment in my career. It was a formative part of my life growing up, so to be recognized by the Academy for hosting feels incredibly surreal. I’m so grateful to everyone who made that night possible," said Connor.

Hacks set the record for most nominations in a single year in the Comedy category with 24 (the previous record was jointly held by The Studio (2025) and The Bear (2024) each with 23 nominations).

However the HBO Max show received a total of 25 nominations across all categories; Hacks: Bit by Bit, a documentary series that provides a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show, received a nomination for Outstanding Shortform Non-fiction or Reality Series.

The Pitt led this year’s Drama category with 25 nominations; it also received an incredible 13 acting nods, with almost the entire cast nominated across lead, supporting, and guest categories.

“We're honored by this recognition and so proud of our cast and crew, whose hard work, talent, and dedication made these Emmy nominations possible. We are deeply grateful to the Television Academy, Warner Bros. Television, HBO Max and all the extraordinary medical professionals who make our show possible, and congratulate all of our fellow nominees," executive producers Noah Wyle, John Wells, and R. Scott Gemmill said.

Tal Anderson, who received her first nomination for her work as Becca King in The Pitt told HELLO! : "I was so honored just about the possibility of a nomination, and now I’m just shocked. I’m most excited now about being at the event with my Pitt family and celebrating everybody’s accomplishments.

"I think about that little girl who wanted to be seen, and I can’t believe this, really.  I’m so grateful to the Television Academy and everyone who voted to elevate my voice this way."
