Julianne Moore and Jessica Chastain are among the stars who have shown off their natural beauty in the 2017 calendar for Pirelli. They join the likes of Kate Winslet and Dame Helen Mirren in starring in the shoot, which was captured by photographer Peter Lindbergh.
The calendar, titled Emotional, was unveiled in Paris on Tuesday, with the photographer explaining that is was a "cry for beauty against the terror of perfection and youth," aiming to show "real women" without heavy make-up or retouching.

Peter said the women he had pictured were "nude while being fully dressed," adding: "It's another kind of naked, more important than body parts. What is more than being naked is to show yourself the way you are."
The 2017 calendar is comprised of 40 images and features 14 actors from four continents including Alicia Vikander, Lupita Nyong'o, Lea Seydoux, Robin Wright and Charlotte Rampling.
Nicole Kidman also stars in the calendar
Speaking about the calendar at the launch, Dame Helen said: "It's a big change. It's very, very difficult for young girls nowadays, and incredibly challenging. The only way we can help them along the way is to say that life goes on a long time and it's wonderful that it does. You will do many things in that time."
Meanwhile Uma Thurman praised the photographer for "working to free women from the present false standards", as well as sharing her own message to young girls today. "My mother used to say, beauty is what beauty does. Accepting yourself as you are is probably the first step."

The 2017 release marks the third time Peter has shot the Pirelli calendar. He has previously created the editions in 1996 and 2002, while other renowned photographers including Annie Leibovitz, Bruce Weber and Mario Sorrenti have also shot previous calendars.
