Whether she's hosting This Morning alongside Dermot O'Leary or presenting Your Song with Paloma Faith and Sam Ryder, Alison Hammond always looks the picture of perfection.
Alison frequently shares her looks on social media, and this Friday was no exception, with the former Big Brother contestant donning a bold green dress for her presenting duties. While the £59 dress was a hit with viewers (several took to the comments section to share they'd snapped up the bargain buy), it was Alison's new 'natural' look that garnered the most praise.
In the photo posted to Instagram, Alison's hairdresser, Michelle Sultan, shared her excitement about styling the presenter's hair, writing: "Curls out" – and the star's fans loved her look.
"You look so different with your natural hair, it makes you look even more beautiful," one praised, while another noted: "Love the natural look, really suits you so much better!"
While Alison is always sent endless love from her fans for her outfits and makeup, her natural hair really seemed to strike a chord with her followers, who loved the change in style: "Loved your hair today, what a surprise. You suited it a lot!" one adoring fan wrote.
Alison Hammond's weight loss journey
While all of the comments focused on Alison's striking new look, the star is also frequently praised for her 11-stone weight loss, which she says she did without help from weight loss drugs.
Sparked after being warned she was pre-diabetic, Alison has shed the weight via a committed workout routine, including dawn exercise sessions near her home in Solihull. "I do this early-morning circuit class from the brilliant Steve Hensel at Blue Zone. I'll go at 6.30 am and do a full hour, it's a proper old-school gym," she said.
Alison Hammond's gym
Alison's gym calls itself "an inclusive health and fitness program for men and women in the Solihull area to get back to looking and feeling at their best", and we can see why Alison likes it – on their social media they're all about community and lifestyle changes, writing: " You're not just losing weight. You're gaining muscle. Gaining energy. Gaining control. Our goal is getting stronger at every age!!"
Alison also does personal training sessions with trainer Stu McCann, who focuses on boxing and group fitness classes, while reformer Pilates is part of Alison's routine too, with the presenter claiming it feels great because she is "as stiff as a board."
Her routine is certainly working for her, and we can't wait for her next update – be it hair, fashion or fitness focused!
