No one dresses for a premiere quite like the Princess of Wales, and the mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis turned heads at the London premiere of Tom Cruise's upcoming action comedy Digger on Tuesday evening.
Opting for one of her most-worn designer brands, Jenny Packham, the royal looked enchanting in her ethereal purple gown.

The 44-year-old donned the Queen Mother's Amethyst Sautoir Necklace, which features pearl beading with the inlay jewel being the absolute highlight: a heart-shaped amethyst and diamond pendant.

The royal's beauty look was worlds apart from her famously natural visage. The brunette princess is known for wearing subtle splashes of cosmetics: a hint of brown eyeshadow, lightly defined brows, and nude lipstick are her go-tos.

"Kate's latest makeup look reflects the return to glamour we've been seeing recently," professional makeup artist and founder of Beauty Class Jacinta Ruscillo tells HELLO!.
© @jacintamakeupartist"It’s the opposite of the minimal, barely-there makeup that has dominated for the past few years. We've seen a lot more of this, most recently at London Fashion Week, with the return of eyeliner, stronger eyeshadow looks, lots of mascara, and statement lips."
What makeup techniques did Princess Kate use on the red carpet?
"Looking at her makeup, I'd say her artist has tightlined the eyes with a waterproof pencil to create definition and drama along the lash line, then used a cream shadow or eyeshadow stick across the lids, blending it upwards and outwards," Jacinta mused.
© WireImage"There also looks to be a black liquid liner along the upper lash line, with perhaps a few individual lashes added for extra definition. The mascara on the bottom lashes really adds to that glamorous, slightly more retro feel, too," she added. "Cool tones are very on-trend at the moment, particularly greys, mauves, and taupes, and they work beautifully here against the purple gown and vintage jewellery," the talented professional noted.
