Royal fans all over the world were delighted to see the Prince and Princess of Wales' beloved children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at the 2026 Wimbledon final. There was no doubt about it, the royal offspring stole the show in the Royal Box at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Watching Jannik Sinner take the trophy following his four-set victory over second seed Alexander Zverev, Charlotte looked suitably stylish in her striking blue bespoke ruffle dress, which she teamed with Pretty Ballerinas ballet pumps and the cutest Ted Baker charm bracelet.

Much was made of her flowing long brunette hair, too - it was teased up into a half-up, half-down style her mother Kate is known for.

Charlotte's nails

If you look closely, it appears that Charlotte also sported natural, fuss-free nails, just like her royal parent, despite donning bubble-gum pink nails at the same event in 2025.

It appears that the 11-year-old had painted her nails with a simple, clear topcoat, a beauty choice Kate also opted for at the famed SW19 venue.

The 'Middleton' Manicure

Thanks to the ongoing 'Clean Girl' aesthetic, it's now cool to embrace what nature gave you, with a little fine-tuning. Beauty experts have noticed that many are shunning expensive nail treatments and bold colours in favour of short, clean, fuss-free nails, focusing on nail health, something the princess has done for many years.

Although Prince William's wife admittedly has sported a flash of red before and famously wore milky white on her nails for her wedding day, her nails are always perfectly manicured yet bare.

"The 'Middleton manicure' is all about healthy, natural elegance; it's timeless, effortless, and incredibly chic," celebrity manicurist Lucy Tucker, whose A-list client list includes Emma Stone, previously told HELLO!. "We're seeing more people move away from gels and heavy enhancements, choosing instead to embrace clean, well-groomed natural nails. It’s a look that’s not only beautiful but also sustainable and kind to your nail health," the talented professional noted.

Isabel Blake, nail influencer and Biosculpture professional manicurist, agrees. "The new 'Princess Nails' trend has become so popular recently due to its timeless elegance. More and more people are going for a natural look these days, and I think that’s nails included."
