Silver locks are so this season. Case in point? Olivia Colman.
The British actress has proved once again that her newly transformed grey curls are the ultimate hair muse this autumn showcasing them in a surprising way on Wednesday night.
After showing her waist-length curls in their full glory at the Berlin Film Festival last week, the Broadchurch star swept them up into a glamorous updo when she stepped out alongside Billie Piper at the launch of the BFI London Film Festival.
Olivia teamed her glamorous updo with an intricate cream and black dress by celebrity-beloved fashion house Zimmerman which was carefully attended to by Andrew Scott as they posed for photos in the red carpet.
Meanwhile, Doctor Who star Billie looked exquisite wearing a strapless black and white floral gown by Emilia Wickstead.
Hours later, Olivia's hair was out in full force swept to one side during the screening of her new film Wicker at the festival on Thursday night.
Glamorously silver strands
The Norwich-born actress, 52, debuted her striking new hair when she stepped out in Switzerland for the premiere of her latest film, Wicker, at the Zurich Film Festival, in which she stars alongside Alexander Skarsgård.
This time, Olivia’s silver tresses were paired an all-white ensemble courtesy of Celine, featuring a loose white tunic-style top with a small bow detail, which she paired with matching white trousers and heels.
As for Olivia’s view on her changing appearance, much like many other stars, she revealed she isn’t afraid of a tweakment, admitting to having a love of Botox.
In 2024, Vernon Kay asked he in an interview: "Does it hurt?" to which she replied: "Yeah, it’s needles in your face."
In a 2015 interview with The Times, the Wonka actress also described how she would use it between movie and television work.
"I have done Botox, and I loved it. I’ve done it when I know there is a big gap [between acting roles]" she said.
