What a difference three months makes! Former Brookside actress Jennifer Ellison stunned fans this weekend when she revealed a photograph of her newly-fat stomach via Instagram, and informed her followers that she’s gone from a size 18 to a size 10 in just three months. Looking skinny in a black top and black leggings, the blonde-haired actress stood sideways on for the selfie in a gym mirror, placing her had on her stomach as she emphasised its new, slender proportions.
“Ok so today was measurements day!!! ” she captioned the shot. “So proud to say I’ve lost a further massive 6.5 inches of body fat in a month! And today I felt brave enough to take a pic after training without a big baggy top over!!! I’ve gone from a size 18 to a 10 in just over 3 months!,” she continued. “I still have a long way to go to get back to what I was was but 2 stone lighter and 27 inches of body fat later im feeling SOOOO much better! Thanks to the most amazing trainer ever Tony Swift for keeping our sessions amazing and challenging and to my training partner Rob Tickle whos absolutely smashing the results too![sic]”

The mum-of-two has been vocal about her weight fluctuations that have occurred since she welcomed sons Bobby, 6, and Harry, 3 into the world, and has been happy in the past to focus on her children rather than the measurement of her waist. As HELLO! reported back in 2013, the stunning actress received negative comments about her size after the birth of her second baby, and was keen to talk back to the critics.
“To all the horrible ppl commenting about my weight… I gave birth 12 WEEKS AGO! Sort ur heads out, my baby boy is my priority NOT my size!!” she blasted at the time. “And just for the record I'm the luckiest, happiest woman in the world with two boys to die for so 'ALL THE BEST!' to you!!!x"
But during an appearance on Loose Women last month, the 33-year-old TV star revealed her current weigh loss efforts were finally paying off due to a very restrictive diet and a busy workout routine during her time on a diet bootcamp. The actress revealed she’d survived on 400 calories a day and joked that her usual breakfast these days was “one raisin….a slice of apple and then a four mile walk”.
