Sandra Bullock's classic 00s comedy Miss Congeniality has arrived on Netflix, and two and half decades later, the actress doesn't appear to have aged a single day.
Sandra has always been gorgeous, as well as physically strong, and the Hollywood star has previously shared some of her simple tips to staying so fit, while also divulging her favourite cheat meal that will no doubt raise a few eyebrows.
Speaking to Instyle back in 2009 about her fitness routine, she joked: "Um – they pay us to do this in order to look good on film." She then continued: "I do Pilates, kickboxing, weight training. When I'm at home, I run or ride a bike. If I can work out every day, I will.
"But there are times when I won't do anything for two weeks and I'm, like, 'You know what? I talk enough to burn calories'."
Speaking to Radar in 2011, personal trainer Simone De La Rue revealed how committed Sandra was to staying in shape. "She puts in an hour a day, six times a week," she told the publication. "She is extremely motivated and driven."
In a separate interview with Women's Health, Simone shared: "There's always cardio like dance, jump roping or rebounding. Then we alternate between 10-minute intervals of high-intensity cardio and strength training moves that focus on different body parts."
Her devotion to fitness has been noticed by her co-stars, with Trevante Rhodes, who worked with Sandra in the 2018 horror Bird Box, telling Entertainment Tonight: "The truth is, before set every day, she would show up in her workout [gear]. So she works out every day."
Sandra's diet and bizarre cheat meal
When it came to her diet, Sandra was similarly as committed, although she confessed that she would allow herself a little indulgence. In the 2009 interview with Instyle, she revealed: "I observe the practice of having a weekly cheat day.
"I start Friday night and I end Saturday night. This allows me to indulge in whatever I want for 24 hours, including dark chocolate with bacon in it, raw cookie dough, or a doughnut."
She also does plenty of meal prep in advance, explaining: "I'll make lists of what I want to eat this week or next week," and for her healthier options, she added: "Last night I had brown rice and black beans and some steamed vegetables, so today I'm going to have all kinds of good stuff!"
