Amal Clooney is a superwoman, what with her incredible career as a human rights lawyer, her role as a mother of twins Alexander and Ella and wife to George Clooney, and a certified fashionista. Fans have long wondered how she achieves her svelte figure, and how she finds the time to work out and maintain a healthy lifestyle amongst her other responsibilities.
The 48-year-old's favorite way to keep fit, as per Women's Health, is through a combination of Pilates, weightlifting, lengthy walks and tennis sessions. George previously revealed that Amal was a competitive player on the tennis court, and often bested him when they faced each other.
"Amal is a really good athlete. When I was younger, I won some tennis tournaments. I played a lot of sports – I still play a lot of sports, and I can actually play [well]. And Amal just beats the hell out of me," George told People.
He added that whenever they versed each other in pickleball, Amal always came out on top. "She kills me – if we play six games, I'll win maybe two," he admitted.
Personal trainer Amanda Place previously spoke to HELLO! about the benefits of a tennis workout, which Amal favors. "Tennis players rely on their upper body strength for powerful serves and precise shots," she explained.
"Tennis is a physically demanding sport that requires strength, agility, and endurance," Amanda said. "Training like a tennis player not only helps you build strength and endurance but also improves your overall athletic performance."
"[By playing tennis] you can experience benefits such as increased cardiovascular endurance, agility, lower body strength, core stability, upper body strength, agility, and reaction time."

Amal proved her athleticism when she beat a former president during his visit to their home in England. "We had a free throw-shooting contest at our house in England with the former president of the United States, Barack Obama, and she beat us all," he told the outlet.
"Amal made 17 free throws straight – and 18 out of 20…I was shooting like Shaq free throws – no offence to Shaq." As for her diet, Amal turns to personal chef Viviana Frizzi, who has worked with the family since 2013.
"Vivi cooks almost every night for us now because we have the twins," George told People. "Going out isn't as easy or as interesting as it used to be. Besides, all of our friends would rather eat her food than hit up a local restaurant in Como or in London."
Viviana shared that the family enjoys a weekly pizza night, with a margherita pizza and a rocket salad being their meal of choice. She also often cooks Lebanese, Indian, Japanese and Italian cuisine for them. "She can make anything, including handmade gnocchi with pesto that would make you cry," the 65-year-old said.
Amal leads an incredibly healthy lifestyle and starts her day with seaweed soup, as per Heat magazine. She previously shared a glimpse into her typical lunch of choice, which was salad, spaghetti with turkey meatballs and chicken breast with lemon sauce.
