Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools celebrated their youngest son River's second birthday on Tuesday during their family holiday, and it looked like the entire family had a wonderful day! To end it on a high, Jools posted a sweet video on Instagram of River surrounded by his elder siblings, who all watched on adoringly at the little boy on his special day. In the footage, lucky River was presented with not only one, but two tasty looking birthday cakes, which Jools helped him to blow out. The much-adored member of the family was then hugged by his sister Daisy, 15, and brother Buddy, seven, while Petal, nine, looked on. No doubt behind the camera but missing from the video were Jamie and the couple's eldest daughter, Poppy, 16.

In the video, River was also seen wearing a handmade birthday crown complete with a peacock embellished in feathers and his age written on it.The personalised gifts are a tradition Jools started when her oldest daughter, Poppy, was three years old. In her blog for Gurgle in 2012, the Little Bird designer said of her children: "I make them their birthday crowns – it's a little thing I started when Poppy was 3 – it's nothing too special, made of coloured card and decorated with glitter, feathers, little jewels, pipe cleaners and ribbons – very Blue Peter! But they love them, as each one is different."
What a lovely family!
Both Jamie and Jools marked River's birthday on social media with their own tributes to their son. Jamie posted a photo of River beaming while sitting in a wicker basket, and wrote in the caption: "Happy 2nd birthday baby River, thanks for being such a dude and bringing such joy in our lives, love daddy." Jools, meanwhile, posted a picture of River walking along the beach. "River, happy birthday baby now you are 2, you cheeky, dimpled baby dream. Let's have some fun today," she wrote alongside the sweet picture.

Jools recently opened up about River in an interview on podcast Made by Mammas. The Little Bird designer gushed that her baby is a "nice addition to the family" who is very much adored by his siblings. "They love him! They absolutely adore him. He doesn’t really speak very much as there is so much noise and everyone speaks for him but everyone loves him," she said.
