Resident Evil actress Milla Jovovich left school at age 12 to focus on modelling and acting, and now, at the age of 50, is watching history repeat itself as her daughter, Ever Anderson, blossoms into an accomplished actress and brand ambassador for some of the world's biggest companies.
Ever – the eldest daughter of Milla, who will next be seen in Heated Rivalry, and her husband, director Paul W.S. Anderson – was born on November 3, 2007, and was five when she first made it clear she wanted to follow her parents into the film industry.

"When she was 5, she said, 'Mama, I want to audition,'" Milla revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show, adding she told Ever that she wouldn't be able to memorize lines because she couldn't yet read.
In response, Ever learned to read by the end of the year. "I'm thinking, 'Oh my god, I’ve created a monster here.' But (she) was laser-focused," Milla recalled.
Ever's dedication led Milla and Paul to introduce her to the world of entertainment early, taking her to Golden Globes events and in 2011, at the age of four, sitting in the front row with her parents at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2011/2012 show.

By 2016, Ever had begun her journey into acting, making her debut at age nine as a younger Alicia Marcus in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, which was directed by Ever’s father and in which mom Milla stars as the older Alicia.
"Not only did (Ever) bring all this talent to the table, but she was very professional and very well-behaved on set and was very serious about what she was doing,” Milla told Entertainment Tonight in 2017.
Ever had truly caught the acting bug by this point, and as she continued her schooling in Los Angeles – where she is being raised alongside younger sisters, an 11-year-old and six-year-old – she also auditioned and in March 2020, she was cast as the younger version of Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff in the 2021 Marvel film Black Widow.

For the role she dyed her hair blue and chopped it short, and on the film's release in 2021 shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures and revealing her joy at the opportunity
"I had my very own trailer for the first time where I did school and stuff which was so cool, I was so proud to sit in it for the first time! Making this movie was one of the most exciting experiences of my life and I hope you all enjoy the pics!!" she captioned the post.
Fashion brands have also taken notice of Ever and in February 2025 she was named as a new Dior ambassador alongside Sophie Wilde, appearing in a campaign for Dior’s Rose des Vents fine jewelry collection, with actress Mia Goth.
Ever also represented the brand at various red carpets, including the Venice Film Festival premiere of Father Joe and attending the Dior Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week, and her social media accounts focus on promoting the company.
On her 19th birthday in 2026, Ever shared on Instagram a series of birthday wishes from friends and family, and also posted her own throwback of a young Ever dressed up as a Disney princess.
"Might be 19 but still am her," she wrote on top of the image.
