If you've ever suffered from cystic acne, you'll know how frustrating it is trying to find anything that'll help to treat it. We spend hundreds of pounds looking for that miracle cure to those painful, angry spots but the answer could be in a tub of sulphur cream that costs less than a fiver.

Thanks to one Reddit user, the De La Cruz Sulfur Ointment cream is now top of our beauty wish list. TheQuinnBee wrote a post titled 'To whoever recommended sulphur cream, freaking thank you' and went on to detail her experience. She wrote: "I had these two cystics that were driving me bonkers. They were freaking painful and noticeable and another was popping up. Someone here recommended sulphur cream. I slap some on for 10 minutes and wash it off. After a day I could double up. The new one vanished immediately. The old ones are nearly gone. I haven’t developed any new ones yet. It feels so freaking good not to have these painful cysts on my face."

Following her post, fellow users went on to hail sulphur cream as their miracle cure too. "Yes! I started using sulphur cream as a spot treatment and it is a miracle cream for overnight pimple killer! I live for it" wrote dis_bean, while skinomgskin commented: "LOVE De La Cruz Sulphur Cream!! It resolved the worst cystic breakout of my life last year, within a month and I've been clear since. Feels so good to know I'll always have this in my arsenal if I have another massive breakout."

Luckily, the ointment comes with a £4 friendly price tag and can be bought on Amazon. It's described as a "maximum strength acne treatment" that "penetrates the pores and dries and clears pimples and blackheads." Plus, it's said to keep new pimples and blackheads from popping up too.
