There’s nothing I love more in this world than a trend resurgence, a good trend resurgence may I add.

Whether it be ballet flats, body chains or a beehive updo, every year we wait in anticipation to see what the fashion world will dig up from the trend graveyard.

The latest must-have trend on our radar (and now to be on yours) is that of the chiffon necktie. A simple yet elegant accessory made famous by Audrey Hepburn in the 1957 film Funny Face, where she’s seen waltzing down the steps of the Louvre in a cherry red Givenchy gown. An iconic moment in fashion history and a teaching moment for all who fancy themselves as a long-lost member of the royal family.

Still don’t believe me when I say this trend is coming back with vengeance? Well, let's look to podcaster, model, author and style muse Emily Ratajkowski to back me up.

Hot off the TikTok press and giving a whole new meaning to Emily In Paris, Ratajkowski was seen flaunting a red neck scarf of her own, in front of la Tour Eiffel. Billowing in the wind as she voice-overs a trending TikTok sound, we can’t help but wonder if it’s Em Ratas' acting or this season's latest trending accessory that warranted the 150K (and counting) views.

Speaking on behalf of accessory lovers everywhere, we hereby declare the chiffon necktie back in trend. Please welcome it with open arms, strapless dresses and heavily winged black eyeliner.
