Pamela Anderson, 59, may be known for her iconic Baywatch era and her inspirational make-up-free advocacy, but did you know that she's also a very keen gardener with an extra special garden?
On Wednesday, the actress shared a video from her beautiful garden, taking her 5.1 million followers on a tour around the grounds.
She turned the camera on herself to say: "Look what's going on in my garden," while flashing her signature style. The blonde beauty looked fresh-faced in a salmon-hued jumper with a shirt underneath.
The video tour included a look at her abundant veg patches and blossoming flower beds. The space features raised wooden beds and metal archways.
"Good morning from the garden," she captioned the post, alongside a flower, star and fairy emoji.
Messages of awe and admiration came flooding in for the outdoor space. "Absolutely beautiful!", "Stunning," and "A dream," were among the comments. Even Pamela's son Dylan added: "Tell me you love to garden without telling me you love to garden."
Pamela passes down her gardening skills
"Both of my sons are very good at gardening," Pamela once told Architectural Digest. She continued: "Brandon has taken it to another level, of course. He does the drawings and the graphs and the grids and the arrows and writes the Latin names of plants. He’s so helpful. He does a lot of our friends’ gardens. He’s designing one right now in Malibu. And Dylan, he’s just got the cool factor. He knows when things look good and peaceful and right."
Pamela's Canadian home is actually her childhood home and she took over to renovate. It is affectionately known as Arcady and has been a labour of love for the star since 2020.
The actress enlisted the help of Vancouver-based interior designer, Francesca Albertazzi, when it came to doing up the property, located in Ladysmith, B.C. It had been virtually untouched for 25 years, but now it is a total haven.
Where does Pamela get her garden inspiration from? Well, the same place many others do - legendary British TV gardening presenter Monty Don. Pamela told AD: "I love Monty Don, his videos and books."
For the star, her relocation from Malibu back home to Canada was a complete "fresh start" and this includes the rebirth found in the love of her garden. "This whole new chapter? It started in the garden," she has said.
