Dawn French is known for her signature sense of humour, and the 68-year-old showed it off this week with an eye-catching video from the garden of her £2 million Cornish home.
Filming inside her greenhouse, the comedian attached a 'mirror mask' to her head as she strolled around. The reflections showed off Dawn's perfectly pruned roses, with the star certainly having green fingers!
As she showed off her gorgeous greenhouse, Dawn could be heard humming, and there was a clear-blue sky above her.
In her caption, she joked: "Best thing I've bought all year!!! Have spent all morning in the garden with this on my face," and fans were quick to praise her quirky new style.
One teased: "I'm calling it now, someone will be wearing this at the next Met Gala," while Paloma Faith jested: "Bjork, eat your heart out," and a third posted: "Lady Gaga's on the phone she wants to steal it."
A fourth fan said: "Lowkey looks like a forbidden lamp," while a fifth enthused: "AI has got nothing on this."
Dawn's life in Cornwall
Dawn moved to Cornwall in 2006 with her charity executive husband, Mark Bignell, whom she married in 2013, in pursuit of a quieter life. She resided in a gorgeous £6.6 million Gothic mansion in Fowey, but in 2021, the star offloaded the property after she started to grow resentful of how busy the town was becoming.
She has since moved elsewhere in the county and has offered fans the occasional glimpse inside her gorgeous abode. Last year, she showed off her garden "bounty" which was an impressive bunch of blooms picked from her garden.
The spray contained stunning roses, peonies and cosmos and was comprised of a range of different hues including pale pink, yellow and orange.
The French & Saunders star also previously showed off her statement home office, which features high ceilings that are complemented by a dramatic chandelier-style light. Her home's uniquely shaped windows also help to add interest and her desk faces out so she can survey the views as she gets creative.
"Beautiful," added Alexandra Burke and "So, so pretty!!," wrote Tan France. "Your writing room is bigger than my entire house," joked one.
