In early October Swedish royals gathered to attend the little boy’s christening. Nicolas looked angelic as he slept in the arms of his mother during the ceremony that took place at Drottningholm Palace Chapel. The four-month-old baby wore the same cream christening robe that his older sister wore during her baptism that took place last year. The service was a family affair with Madeleine’s older brother Prince Carl Philip agreeing to take on the role as the baby boy’s godfather along with five other of the royal couple’s friends. He also played a vital role in the christening, doing a reading and filling up the baptismal font before blessing his nephew. It won’t be long before Carl Philip will have his own little boy or girl as he recently announced that his new wife Princess Sofia is pregnant with their first child.
