It was their first tour abroad as a married couple, and the Duke and Duchess, naturally, charmed the locals they met.
© Photo: HELLO!The following year in September 2012, William and Kate carried out a tour to Singapore, Malaysia, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu on behalf of the Queen for the Diamond Jubilee.
The Duchess was famously pictured wearing a headscarf as she visited the Assyakirin Mosque - the biggest in Malaysia - evoking memories of the late Princess Diana who wore a similar attire during a tour of Egypt in 1992.
© Photo: HELLO!In Tuvalu, in the South Pacific, Kate showed off her fun side - as well as her dance skills - as the couple took part in a programme at the Vaiku Falekaupule ceremony.

The couple were keeping their own secret - Kate was pregnant with her first baby!

The little boy was eight months old when he undertook his first tour abroad to Australia and New Zealand. William was a similar age when he travelled to the same countries.

The couple posed in front of the Taj Mahal, once again evoking memories of Princess Diana.
