Lady Louise Windsor is working hard in her final year at the University of St Andrews in Scotland – and she's about to get even busier, HELLO! can reveal.
King Charles's niece, 22, will be helping out at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Berkshire next week, which runs from 14 to 17 May.
HELLO! understands that the young royal takes on a part-time job at the show, held in the grounds of Windsor Castle, every year. She is often seen carriage driving at the show, a hobby inspired by her late grandfather, Prince Philip.
A source told us that Lady Louise previously requested a job in the offices during her university summer holidays and was "very polite and helpful" as she was put to work doing administrative tasks, such as sealing envelopes.
The insider told us: "Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward provided Lady Louise and her brother James with as normal an upbringing as possible, and this is clearly reflected in her work ethic.
"She is very grounded and down-to-earth, you wouldn't know she was a royal. It was her idea to ask for a part-time job."
"She's very hard-working," they added.
Lady Louise's potential next steps revealed
The official end date for the exam period at St Andrews is 25 May, so it's unknown if Lady Louise will have concluded her studies by the time she helps out at Royal Windsor.
Louise has been studying for a degree in English for the past four years and has got stuck into extra-curricular activities, including the theatre scene and joining St Andrews University Officers' Training Corps as a cadet.
Her course is known to be academically rigorous with entry requirements of AAA at A-level, though Louise's exact grades are unknown.
Speaking on HELLO!'s A Right Royal Podcast in March, Queen Elizabeth's former press secretary Ailsa Anderson speculated that Louise could go "into the military" after she finishes her studies.
She said: "She takes after her grandfather as carriage driving is a real hobby of hers. She'll be an interesting one to watch.
"I wonder if she'll go into the military after she's finished university. She'd be one of the first members of the royal family – of the younger generation – to go down the military route."
It's unlikely that Lady Louise will be a working royal in the future. However, she has reportedly expressed interest in a career in the military, diplomacy or law on her LinkedIn page.
Royal part-time jobs
There are currently 11 working royals, including King Charles and Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
But it's not uncommon for members of the royal family to have taken on part-time jobs when they were younger, or before becoming full-time working members of the Firm.
Kate, now Princess of Wales, had a stint as an accessories buyer for fashion chain Jigsaw, and later worked for her parents' business, Party Pieces.
Lady Louise's mother, Duchess Sophie, had a successful career in PR before she married Prince Edward, while Princess Beatrice worked as a sales assistant in Selfridges.
It was previously reported that Lady Louise herself had picked up a summer job in a local garden centre, earning £6.63 an hour.
