VTID!
And it was overwhelming joy for Prince William as his beloved football team Aston Villa surged to a 3-0 win in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
It was the team's first major trophy in 30 years and their first Europa League title since the Prince of Wales had been born.
William took to social media to share his celebration; read the full story here.
Ta-ra for now...
On that note, I'm going to close out this blog for the day, but our UK team will be back in a few hours, for a brand new day of royal news and excitement!
The summer of garden parties
Hillsborough Castle is in Northern Ireland, where Charles and Canilla are enjoying a three-day royal visit. The castle is the official residence of the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.
Day one saw the royal couple visit the Titanic Quarter of Belfast to celebrate the city hosting this year's Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, the world's largest festival of Irish music and dance. They were greeted by Irish dancers and musicians.
Good morning!
It's a busy day for the royals, with the Duke of Cornwall (aka known as the Prince of Wales) heading down to Cornwall. The royal will likely be nursing a sore head after heading to Istanbul last to watch Aston Villa triumph in the Europa League and partying into the night.
Elsewhere, Sweden's Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia will be heading down to Florence, while the Duchess of Edinburgh will be journeying to Devon for the Devon Country Show.
Party prince
After the win, the Prince of Wales headed out to celebrate. Swedish influencer Maja Nilsson Lindelöf, who is married to Aston Villa centre-back Victor Lindelöf, shared a photo from a club where she met the royal.
She posted the phrase 'Spåra ur direkt', a common Swedish phrase which is used for situations that can quickly spiral out of control.

Royal rule for George, Charlotte and Louis
While there are plenty of rules that the royals must have to follow, Prince William and Princess Kate have a few additional ones for their three children. And they're not too far away from rules that parents across the nation have also imposed. Read more here...
Charles kicks the day off
The King and Queen are continuing their tour of Northern Ireland, and on the third day, the pair ended up on separate engagements. Starting off his day, Charles visited Ards Allotments, an allotment founded by owner Maurice after he saw footage of the then Prince of Wales visiting one on the news years ago.
Dutch photoshoot
The Dutch royal family regularly enjoy a pre-summer photoshoot, and the lovely family snaps were released on Thursday. We love this one of the family-of-five, with Alexia and Ariane showing off their fun sides as their eldest sister, Catharina-Amalia watches on.
The late Queen's teddy goes on display
The late Queen's private rooms at the Palace of Holyroodhouse have opened to the public for the first time, revealing some of the late monarch's personal possessions.
Her teddy bear, Haddington, is seen displayed on the sofa where Queen Elizabeth II liked him to be displayed. Emma Stead, Holyroodhouse's curator revealed: "The Queen was given him as a gift and after that she asked that whenever she arrived here, he be placed in that particular position on the sofa awaiting her arrival."
Musical monarch
Things took an unexpected turn at the allotment as King Charles was seen showing off his musical abilities by playing a ukulele! The royal has been getting in touch with his musical side on his trip to Northern Ireland, and on the first day of the visit, he and Queen Camilla played traditional Bodhran drums. Camilla was quick to make sure her husband was doing everything properly!
Monarch's healthy habit?
Charles is staying impressively fit at the age of 77, with the monarch previously hinting that he wouldn't be opposed to a hip-hop lesson. HELLO! chatted to a personal trainer about why this could be beneficial for Charles.
Maxima is once again a style queen
Before joining her family for their annual photoshoot, Holland's Queen Maxima was out at Circa Amsterdam for the King Willem I Awards. As ever, she looked resplendent in red, with her outfit turning our heads. Get a full glimpse with our story here!
Further details on Andrew's trade appointments
Further files into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's previous trade envoy role. The files revealed that the late Queen was "very keen" for her son to take on a "prominent role in the promotion of national interests".
A Downing Street spokeswoman said: "We are complying with the humble address and we're publishing those documents as quickly as possible. We're also supporting the police investigation as you would expect.
"And we'll provide the House with any other substantive documents we find in the course of that work."
Taking the reins
Hello! It's Isabelle here, I will be taking you through all the royal updates this afternoon!
Kisses for Camilla!
One four-legged royal fan couldn't wait to greet Queen Camilla on her final day in Northern Ireland, and did so with a kiss, licking the royal on the face while in Newtownards.
The pup in question was an adorable eight-month-old shih tzu called Teddy.
Royal foodie
The King created a stir on a visit to a community hub when he turned his hand to baking a "VIP dessert" for people who rely on the centre for hot meals.
Charles was accompanied by the Queen on the tour of the Warehouse centre in Newtownards, Co Down.
The former pub has been repurposed as a volunteer-supported facility that provides free food supplies and meals to people in need, using excess produce from supermarkets and other suppliers that would otherwise have gone to waste.
Charles helped out in the kitchen by stirring up a gluten-free chocolate cake mix.
Live like the Queen
Ever wondered what it's like to live like a Queen? Members of the public are now getting the chance to peek inside the private apartments of the late Queen Elizabeth II at Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh for the first time ever. King Charles has decided to allow the spaces to be made public to celebrate what would have been the year of his mother's 100th birthday.
On Thursday, there was a press preview of the rooms, so allow us to give you a special tour of the previously top secret spaces, including a cosy sitting room, a private breakfast room where Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip used to dine and even Her Majesty's former writing desk, complete with all-important red despatch boxes.
Double trouble royal foodie!
The Duchess of Edinbrugh did well to get stuck in during her visit to the Savona food service stand in the Food and Drink Pavilion at Westpoint arena in Exeter.
The royal taste-tested a scone and cider and while in the Food and Drink hall of Devon County Show.
William's personal video
It was clear the Prince of Wales enjoyed himself on Wednesday night when he supported his team Aston Villa's victory in Turkey.
Sharing a video from his fun night abroad, the future King, 43, penned: "What a night. Thank you to Turkey for hosting a great final. Incredible atmosphere and great sportsmanship from Freiburg. Enjoy the parade, Birmingham. W."
A very special bear
The late Queen's private rooms at Holyroodhouse are opening up to the public, allowing them unprecedented glimpses into the life of Her Late Majesty.
Around the new millennium, Queen Elizabeth was gifted with a teddy bear that she named Haddington, after a town in Scotland. She became very fond of the bear, and whenever she travelled to her Scottish residence, she had specific requests for how the toy should be displayed.
Emma Stead, the curator for Holyroodhouse, explained: "The Queen was given him as a gift and after that she asked that whenever she arrived here, he be placed in that particular position on the sofa awaiting her arrival. She had a few personal objects that she liked to be placed quite precisely."
Whiskey Thursday
Queen Camilla, 78, is known to be a fan of red wine and has also been partial to a gin and Dubonnet, but we don't think the royal will be adding whiskey to her drinks order any time soon. Earlier this week, on a trip to Northern Ireland, Camilla and her husband King Charles visited Titanic Distillers for an exclusive tour. During the look-around, they were both given a tipple to try - and it appeared to take Her Majesty by surprise.
The Queen lifted the glass to her nose to smell it, and her head involuntarily jolted backwards in a very slight but distinct movement. She then smirked to herself at the reaction, but wasn't deterred and straight away went in for a sip. After tasting, she branded it: "Very strong," as her husband turned to her to see what she thought of it.
Kate's 'critical' role
The Princess of Wales is playing a critical role supporting the royal family during a period of "unprecedented turbulence" for the royal family, insiders have revealed.
Kate, 44, was an "impeccable" representation of the Crown during her visit to Reggio Emilia, Italy, last week on her first official trip abroad since her cancer diagnosis in 2024.
The Princess was met with excited crowds, including at the Piazza Prampolini, where around 3,000 people gathered to welcome her.
Catherine Mayer, author of Divide and Rule, told PEOPLE Magazine that the Princess is making the ship look "steady" during a period of "unprecedented turbulence" for the royal family, adding that without her and Prince William, there is "no institution".
Meanwhile, one of the Princess's close friends added that she is "an impeccable force for good, a fantastic standard-bearer – not just for the royal family but for the country".
The visit marked some much-needed good news for the family, who have been dealing with the fallout from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest in February.
Handing over!
Handing the blog over to Becky in the US!
Back to work...
The Prince of Wales was back to work on Thursday after an exuberant Wednesday night but like any good sports fan, he had a noticeably hoarse voice!
"I’m trying not to talk about it all day!" he said as he toured Nansledan in Newquay, the day after watching his side Aston Villa roar to victory in the Europa League final in Istanbul.
Claret and blue
Our very own Emily Nash was with Prince William today and spotted the royal was wearing a claret and blue tie, honoring his beloved Aston Villa's big win in Istanbul.
Kisses for Camilla
While Prince William is in Cornwall, the King and Queen are closing out a three-day trip tp Northern Ireland - where Camilla received a kiss from an unlikely source!
See the full video here.
Dog content
Emily's full report of William's visit to Cornwall is now live. You can read it here.
It includes a hoarse voice, some mild chirping, and lots of dog content!
Engagement number two
William's second engagement of the day saw him visit a housing development to see the final stages of the £3m project that includies24 low-carbon homes purpose-built to address homelessness. The first residents are due to move in this summer to the Garth Ellis site, named after the founder of St Petrocs, the homelessness charity.
The project is a collaboration between St Petrocs, the Royal Foundation’s Homewards programme and the Duke of Cornwall’s Charitable Foundation, to provide housing solutions for homeless people in Cornwall.
The Duchy of Cornwall is working on the project with the with the long-term aim of helping people move from temporary accommodation at Nansledan into permanent homes.
What is a Duchy?
Nansleaden is in the Duchy of Cornwall, one of two remaining Duchies in England.
But what is a Duchy?
A Duchy is a territory ruled by a Duke - in this case, Prince William - but sovereign ruling duchies are a thing of the past in the UK.
The Duchy of Cornwall, and the Duchy of Lancaster, now exist as large, private portfolios of land and assets, generating independent wealth
However, it does not include the entirety of the county of Cornwall; half of the Duchy is on Dartmoor in Devon, with other large holdings in Herefordshire, Somerset and the Isles of Scilly, which William will visit on May 22.
