It may be the biggest wedding of our generation, with A-listers and Hollywood royalty suspected to be invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's upcoming wedding in June.
Now, actual royalty could be added to the list if Prince William's coy reaction to being asked if he had scored an invite is anything to go by.
Appearing on Heart Radio with Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston, the future King, 43, acted coy when asked by the hosts if he had landed an invitation, to which he answered: "No comment" alongside a big laugh. He added, "I am hoping, and I am sure that there might be an invitation around. Will see."
During the show, William gushed about his children, particularly his daughter Charlotte's love for the American-born singer.
"Charlotte, my daughter and Louis are fans. Charlotte, particularly, is obsessed with Taylor Swift. She saw her in the Eras Tour, it was amazing. We did meet her."
Jamie dedicated Taylor's Opalite to Charlotte, stating, "This is for Charlotte. We know she is listening."
Meeting Taylor
Back in 2024, during the UK leg of her Eras tour, Taylor had a private meeting with Charlotte and her elder brother, George, at Wembley Stadium.
An insider told HELLO! at the time, while it may have appeared a seamless affair on social media, this wasn't the case behind the scenes.
"They had a nightmare getting in, they were running really late but they had planned to get there earlier so they could have the meet and greet with Taylor beforehand because they knew they wanted to leave early.
"They only had 25 minutes to spare so had a quick meet and greet and then went up to their box before the show, and there was a bit of stress and panic about that because it was taking too long."
But nonetheless, the meeting, which took place on William's 42nd birthday, was a hit, with both the official social media channels for the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Love Story hitmaker shared a photograph from the special moment.
Referencing William's birthday most hilariously in the caption, Taylor wrote alongside the image: "Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start."
