Meghan Markle has revealed the sweet nicknames she has for her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, revealed that each member of her family has a different favourite jam flavour in a video shared on her lifestyle brand, As Ever's, Instagram account on Sunday.
Wearing a white apron in a kitchen, which did not appear to be in the Montecito mansion she shares with Prince Harry, Meghan confessed: "Everyone in my family has a different favourite. My husband loves the raspberry!"
She then said "Lil" – four-year-old Lilibet – likes the strawberry best, while "Arch" – seven-year-old Prince Archie – loves both flavours.
"And I like the marmalade," she said, referring to her orange As Ever marmalade.
The post appeared to be advertising her fruit spread trio, which sells on her website for $36, or $42 in a gift box.
A caption added: "Inspired by the jams Meghan has created in her own kitchen and shared over the years, each spread reflects a small-batch, carefully balanced approach to flavor. "Bright and fruit-forward with just a hint of tartness and a whisper of lemon, these spreads are crafted to highlight each fruit’s natural essence without overpowering it."
Prince William's jam confession
In recent days, royal fans have drawn comparisons between Meghan's As Ever posts and an interview conducted by Prince William.
The Prince discussed his scone preference – having jam first, before cream, like his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Hours later, Meghan shared a picture of her own scone recipe.
Prince William also made a jam confession of his own during the rare radio appearance on Heart FM during his visit to the Scilly Isles.
The Prince of Wales described the "chaotic" morning school run with the Princess of Wales and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The future King said that the family will often enjoy jam sandwiches as a snack on the go. These are particularly popular with their youngest child, eight-year-old Prince Louis.
'There’s a lot of jam sandwiches taken in the car usually," William said. "Louis will leave jam fingerprints throughout the car, which is really helpful."
King Charles also has his own line of jams, which are sold by the Highgrove estate.
Family celebrations
It comes after Meghan and Harry celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary at home, complete with a lemon and elderflower cake – the same flavour as from their 2018 wedding – and the gift of a bronze penguin sculpture, because penguins "mate for life".
"When mama and papa, when we got engaged, we had a party with all of our friends, and we said everyone should wear an animal onesie, and we were penguins because they mate for life," Meghan could be heard telling Archie and Lili.
In a video, Archie and Lilibet sang them a "happy anniversary" to the tune of "happy birthday", while Harry addressed an envelope to his "one and only". So adorable!
