To celebrate his 58th birthday, King Frederik X stepped out in traditional fashion alongside his wife, Queen Mary, and their youngest children, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, waving to onlookers from the balcony of Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg.
Notably, there were a few absences from the day, including King Frederik's mother, Queen Margrethe, who has sadly been recently readmitted to hospital. The couple's eldest children, Crown Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, were also unable to attend.
