Prince Louis was caught on camera picking his nose after attending Trooping the Colour earlier this month.
The eight-year-old was spotted indulging in the common habit while standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. The young royal was dressed in a navy blazer with a white shirt and baby blue tie.
He was joined on the balcony by his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, his parents, Prince William and Princess Kate, and his grandparents, King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Trooping the Colour has marked the monarch's official birthday for over 260 years. Over 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians take part in the display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare. The parade travels from Buckingham Palace down The Mall to Horse Guards Parade and closes with the Royal Air Force fly-past.
Since their children were toddlers, William and Kate have opted for private schools, starting in 2016 with Westacre Montessori School for George, which at the time cost £33 a day to attend, as well as the £14,500 -a-year Willcocks Nursery School for Charlotte and Louis.
George and Charlotte later attended Thomas's Battersea, before all three siblings enrolled at Lambrook School near their Windsor home.
Education
When George began at Thomas's Battersea in 2017, term fees were £6,385 (about $8,420.19) and rose to £7,520 when he started middle school there. Charlotte joined her big brother at the school in 2020. Because she was the second child from the same family at Thomas's Battersea, she had a sibling discount fee of £6,560 per term.
However, the two moved to a new school in 2022. Less than two weeks before their first day, Kensington Palace announced in a statement: "Their Royal Highnesses are hugely grateful to Thomas's Battersea where George and Charlotte have had a happy start to their education since 2017 and 2019 respectively and are pleased to have found a school for all three of their children which shares a similar ethos and values."
George, Charlotte and Louis all began at Lambrook School on the same day their great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth died.
Term fees at Lambrook vary by grade, with Louis' tuition estimated in 2022 to be around £13,167, Charlotte's at £19,344 and George's at approximately £20,997, bringing the family's education bill that year to approximately £53,508.
After the 2025-26 academic year, William and Catherine will be left with just two children at Lambrook. Charlotte and Louis will continue at the school, while George heads off to boarding school at Eton in September.
