The Princess of Wales's private conversations during her SW19 visit last week have been unveiled in a very special royal edition of "Overheard at Wimbledon".

Kate, 44, was seen chatting with former British tennis player Tim Henman and All England Lawn and Tennis Club Chair Debbie Jevans.

The trio discussed the tennis, as well as the Princess's recent Three Peaks Challenge, in support of the Royal Marsden, where she received her cancer treatment in 2024.

The Princess said: "The court is so pristine" and asked Debbie if she "chooses the voice for the calls now", to which she joked: "It's way above my pay grade!"

The conversation zoomed in on them as they watched Brit star Arthur Fery play Otto Virtanen on Court 18 last Thursday.

Kate was seen laughing lightheartedly as the trio exchanged jokes and comments about the tournament.

"Overheard at Wimbledon" is a series shared by the tennis tournament featuring comments made by spectators on The Hill, in the grounds, as well as Centre Court and the 18 other Championship grass courts.

Kate opens up about 'atrocious' weather during Three Peaks challenge

The Princess also chatted to Tim about her Three Peaks mountain challenge, which saw her climb the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in less than 24 hours.

She said: "I did it in 24 hours, that was the challenge anyway. But I think part of the journey was trying to enjoy the process, the training beforehand, but also making the time during the walk, to meet people and enjoy the journey rather than just quickly getting to the top."

However, she admitted, laughing: "The weather was atrocious! I mean, I Everybody got soaked through, but it was a very stoically British thing to do.

"You know, you're soaking wet and everybody's going 'Come on, you can do it'."

Asked about her fundraising efforts, she said: "I've just been blown away by all the donations. Everyone's been so generous. That's what keeps you going, that you're doing it for a good cause. It keeps you going through the harder times."

Last week, the royal mother-of-three greeted tennis fans who had queued for hours in the hopes of securing a ticket to Wimbledon, before watching the tennis action on the outer courts.

In the Overheard clip, tennis fan Kate asked Tim what his "top speed" had been, with the star responding "146km per hour".

She showed off her sporting knowledge, noting that the court looked "pristine" and asking Tim if he remembered "Sampras", referring to former American player Tim Sampras, who was ranked number one for a consecutive 286 weeks.

Commenting on the play before her, she gasped, "very good!" and "lovely". "That is seriously good tennis," she added.
