The Princess of Wales had a memorable Friday evening, as she headed out with two of her children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The trio were spotted at the Royal Ballet School for an evening performance that marked 100 years of the institution. Among the highlights at the special performance were Act III of Swan Lake and Christopher Wheeldon's Christening Suite.

While Louis, eight, hasn't been known to be a major ballet fan, his older sister, Charlotte, loves the dance. Kate confirmed her only daughter's hobby back in 2017, stating that she "absolutely loves [ballet]".

William added on a separate occasion: "Charlotte is running around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet stuff and everything."

When the young royal turned eight back in 2023, she was treated to a night at the Royal Opera House to watch The Royal Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada's performance of Cinderella.

Despite not seemingly taking an interest in ballet beforehand, Louis has always been a keen dancer. The young royal has regularly been seen dancing around on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during events like Trooping the Colour.

Back in March, Kate spoke of her youngest son's love of dance when she met a group of Bollywood dancers during an outing in Leicester. After being treated to a performance by the troupe, she remarked: "You must be super fit because it's super energetic. My children would love that, they love their dancing. Louis would love your dance routine."

The royal's trip to the ballet comes after she spent the afternoon with her husband, Prince William, at a charity polo match. After William's team took the victory, Kate was on hand to give him the trophy, also sharing a kiss with her beloved.

She then joined him and his US Polo Association team mates on the podium to hand them the cup at Guards Polo Club in Windsor, a stone's throw from their home at Forest Lodge.

She presented prizes to all the players, as well as the umpires. She and members of the couple's staff, including the Prince's equerry, Squadron Leader Mike Reynolds, had watched from across the field from the main tent.

This was the 15th time that William has played in this polo match, and this year's event was set to take the total amount raised to more than £15,000,000 for deserving causes that the Prince and Princess are passionate about.
