Prince William's teenage son Prince George is already nearly as tall as him! The Prince and Princess of Wales were joined by their three children on Saturday for the 2026 Commonwealth Games – and their thirteen-year-old son towered well over his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight.
George stood at almost the same height as his 6'3" dad in a video taken from the family outing in Glasgow. The young royal walked in front of his towering dad and alongside his 5'9" mother, who he has now pretty much matched in height after appearing to have a significant growth spurt this year.
He looks to be well and truly taking after his father, who is the tallest member of the royal family. During the Waleses Christmas Day outing in Sandringham last December, George's height was brought up in a conversation between the Princess of Wales and a royal fan. Kate remarked that her son was "catching up with everybody".

The Waleses briefly resurfaced from their annual summer break over the weekend to attend the penultimate day of the Commonwealth Games, which came to a close on Sunday. George accompanied his parents and siblings to watch netball, cycling, and Judo in Glasgow, including a nail-biting semi-final showdown between Jamaica and Australia's netball teams.
The royals later met with Welsh athletes and their families at Wales House in the city centre. At one point, Prince William admitted that, just like all parents, they "embarrass" their teen son Prince George.
© WireImageDuring a conversation, Kate said that Dame Laura Kenny, five-time Olympic champion cyclist, had tried to convince her and William to "come and give it a go" in the velodrome. "I did say be careful what you wish for as they want to put us on a tandem bike in the velodrome," the royal said with a laugh.
Welsh TV presenter Gethin Jones later asked George outside: "Would you like to see mum and dad on a tandem in the velodrome later?" The young Prince quickly replied: "No!"
William then quipped: "We embarrass you enough as it is."

It's been a big year for George who just last month celebrated his milestone 13th birthday, officially becoming a teenager. The royal looked ever so grown-up in an official photograph taken by the family's trusted photographer Matt Porteous, which was released for the special occasion.
George was dressed in a suit at Kensington Palace after the Trooping the Colour celebrations. The birthday tributes continued with a video released later in the day of the Prince rock climbing with his younger brother, Prince Louis. The footage was filmed during the family's Easter holiday in Cornwall.
In just a matter of weeks after the school holidays wrap up, George will follow in his father's footsteps and begin his secondary education at Eton College in September.
