Mia Tindall looks set to follow in mum Zara Tindall's footsteps, as she helped her equestrian mum groom her horse at the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials

Mia Tindall has joined her mum, Zara Tindall, at the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials. The young royal wasn't just a spectator, as she was seen grooming her mum's horse.

While Zara was wearing her traditional riding uniform, Mia looked like any other tween, as she styled out a red-and-black striped T-shirt and jeans.

Not only was Mia seen grooming her mum's horse, but she was also seen in deep conversation with her at times. But it wasn't all work for the young royal, as she was also seen messing around with a family friend during a light-hearted moment.

Zara has been riding Classicals Euro Star this weekend, and she was seen arriving at the event on Thursday, sprinting in a pair of skinny jeans to make the mandatory veterinary inspection.

Mia got stuck into work

Mia could be seen as part of a team working on Zara's horse. The young royal handled the coat, while others worked on cleaning the hooves.

Mia gave Classicals Euro Star a good scrub

Mia didn't do a half-hearted job, as she was seen grooming Classicals Euro Star on all sides. We're sure the horse appreciated the brush!

Mia made sure to work fast

Getting into action

Time was of the essence, and as she picked up her brush, Mia could be seen running back to the horse.

Mia had a stern impression on her face as she prepared for her hard work.

Zara was proud of her eldest daughter

Zara appeared to be impressed with her daughter's work ethic, and the pair were seen with their arms around one another as they walked off.

It wasn't all hard work for the 12-year-old royal, as she was seen enjoying a laugh with a family friend. Mia had the biggest grin on her face as she was dipped over.

Mia appeared to do a stellar job, and following the brush, Classicals Euro Star and Zara were ready for the course. Though we imagine he also needed a scrub following the event!
