Samuel Chatto has made a rare appearance, stepping out for his first public outing since announcing his engagement to his long-term girlfriend.
Princess Margaret's grandson, 30, this week attended a private viewing of the new exhibition, "Painting The French Riviera" at The Royal Academy of Arts in London.
Sam, who is the son of Lady Sarah and Daniel Chatto, made a solo appearance dressed in an all-black suit, with a matching shirt.
The exhibition, which opens on Friday, explores how the French Riviera "supported the rise of modern art".
It features works by artists including Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and more.
Sam, who is a second cousin to Princes William and Harry, revealed he was engaged to his long-term girlfriend, Eleanor Ekserdjian, in June, with the couple set to marry next spring.
King Charles was understood to have been informed of the happy news and was said to be delighted for the pair.
Samuel Chatto collaborates with fiancée Eleanor for latest exciting project
This week, Sam has also been part of an exhibition called "ATTRAVERSO" at the Sokyo Annex in Japan, which features collaborative works by the artist and his fiancée Eleanor.
The couple worked together, with Eleanor painting directly onto fabric, which was then suspended between a camera and Sam's ceramics.
"Chatto and Ekserdjian are individual artists as well as a couple, their distinct practice existing in an ongoing creative dialogue," a description states.
The exhibition sees him combining British materials with Japanese processes, before being fired in the wood kiln in his Sussex studio.
Sam told the Tokyo Art Beat: "A lot of this work to me feels like that fluidity and movement, and also bringing the clay back to the moment of creation on the wheel.
"Although a lot of these works are hand-carved, they are on the wheel at certain points in their creation, and the movement of the bowl in the hand during the tea ceremony, for me, references the process of wheel throwing."
Samuel and Eleanor's relationship ahead of royal wedding
In June, Eleanor revealed her gorgeous porcelain engagement ring, which had been handmade by Sam.
Sharing a black-and-white photo of the pair on Instagram, Sam penned: "I’m really delighted to say that Ellie and I are engaged. And we couldn't be happier. I proposed with a porcelain ring which I made."
The couple, who are both University of Edinburgh graduates, are thought to have met in 2021.
Eleanor previously joined Samuel and the wider royal family for the annual Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham in 2024.
As HELLO! reported at the time, Eleanor's presence at the traditionally spouses-only event sparked speculation that an engagement was on the cards.
In June, the couple arrived arm in arm as they attended Harriet and Peter Phillips' wedding.
