Kate Hudson has the most gorgeous home, and one room in particular stands out!
The Oscar nominee recently shared a series of photos from her LA home on social media, including a glimpse inside her opulent bathroom.
The spacious area featured a lavish bathtub with gold taps, overlooking a beautiful tiered backyard and greenery.
The bathroom - which wouldn't look out of place on the set of Bridgerton - also boasts a large bay window with multiple glass panes and lightweight Austrian shades. Gold-framed family photos placed around the bathtub added a personal touch to the room.
British inspiration
The bathroom has a regal, English stately home aesthetic, likely inspired by Kate's love of the UK. The actress has traveled extensively and spent much time in England over the years.
Most recently, the actress paid tribute to the UK after receiving a BAFTA nomination. Taking to Instagram, she shared: "England has always been a real home for me and my family so this nomination feels like a love letter back to a place that's given us so much. See you soon London Town."
Kate spent a significant time living in England while in a relationship with ex fiancé Matt Bellamy. She also previously joked that if she became Mayor of London for the day, she would create a Downton Abbey Day.
Kate's family ties to her home
The Hollywood star's home is extra special, because she grew up there as a child. The Almost Famous actress re-purchased the property from her parents Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, in 2005. She later bought the adjacent property in 2011, combining the two into a large family home.
Family first
Kate is incredibly close to her family and lives nearby to her parents and brother, Oliver Hudson. Oliver recently opened up to HELLO! about just how proud he was of his younger sister, whose film, Song Sung Blue, has been nominated at all the major awards shows, including the Oscars.
Talking to HELLO!, he said: "It's been a whirlwind, honestly. Especially for her, obviously, having to do the whole dog and pony show. This is nuts, and she hasn't experienced this since Almost Famous [in 2001] – but now we're all older and we get to experience it with her and for her to be celebrated is incredible."
In 2001, Kate was nominated for her groundbreaking role as Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous. "We were celebrating her, but I was a 24-year-old dude who was doing my own stuff instead,"' said Oliver of that time.
"That's the beauty of our family, we celebrate each other and we love what we do, but it's not as important as other people might make it. We relish in the success of everyone's accomplishments, but at the same time, it's like, 'Amazing, but you know there's more important things… to be straight up!"
Oliver shared that he doesn't believe Kate cares either way if she wins, but added: "Do we want to win? She doesn't care. But I care! I do, and I don't even know why because, truly, art is so subjective. But I think that people need to recognize the difficulty of a role like this, and she does it with grace and beauty and her voice is amazing and she just hits all the notes."
