Dylan Dreyer rushed through the weather report during the May 8 instalment of the TODAY Show for a reason that may come as a surprise.
While Dylan Dreyer stood on the other side of Studio 1A preparing to deliver the weather forecast, her co-stars were seen enjoying a selection of breakfast sandwiches. "Do you want us to save you one?" Savannah Guthrie asked Dylan. "Yes, sausage, egg, and cheese," replied Dylan. "Ok, I got you," added Savannah.
The NBC star appeared eager to eat, as she clearly showed signs of hunger. "My stomach is instantly growling. I have to wrap up this forecast real quick," said Dylan. "Roll past this weather," replied Carson Daly.
Dylan Dreyer's workout routine and diet
While Dylan Dreyer may indulge in breakfast sandwiches, her day-to-day lifestyle routine focuses on clean eating and intense workout sessions. The star has previously discussed her workout routine during an episode of the Today Show. Dylan said she was a "big fan" of working out at home due to being a mom of three.
"I'll be walking Bosco and all of a sudden I'll just break out into lunges or I'm watching TV and I'll stand up and do some squats," she shared.
"Not many, but enough so that it takes the guilt off from the bowl of ice cream I'm about to eat."
Dylan shares three sons, Calvin, Oliver and Rusty, with her husband Brian Fichera. She also swears by the Soto Method, which is described as "a mix of cardio and sculpting movements designed to maximize burn and efficiently deliver a full-body workout."
"5 kids between the 2 of us!! I know I rave about @sotomethod all the time, but I’m so thankful to @hoffhil for creating this workout class that so easily fits into the busiest of schedules. I usually do the class on line but today she kicked my butt in person! There’s a link in my bio for a free trial if you’re up for something new! You won’t be disappointed…she’s the absolute best!!," she also penned on Instagram about the workout.
The NBC host is very diligent about the food she keeps in her home due to her son Calvin's Celiac Disease diagnosis – a chronic digestive illness triggered by eating gluten.
Dylan has previously shared details of how she packs for trips to ensure her eldest son remains healthy. Taking to Instagram, she said: "You know what takes up a lot of space in your suitcase when traveling with celiac disease…POTS AND PANS AND GF PANCAKE MIX AND SPATULAS AND KNIVES AND CUTTING BOARDS AND SILVERWARE….."
