On Mother's Day on Sunday, May 10, she took to her Instagram page with a lengthy tribute to all the mothers out there, those who have strived to provide their children with the best life possible through all the challenges life has thrown at them.

With the post, she included a few photos of her sons as well, showcasing just how her younger two James and Alexander's inquisitive minds work, plus their bond with their older stepbrother, and how his personality fits in with theirs and his stepfather Richard's.

"Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers, women, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, and friends who hold the world together in ways that are often invisible," she wrote alongside the sweet family memories.

"Motherhood is the hardest work I have ever done, and also the most sacred. It asks us to be strong when we are tired, soft when the world is hard, patient when we are overwhelmed, and loving even in the moments when we are still learning ourselves."

She continued: "I believe women carry generations inside them. We raise our children, but we also help raise the men and women of the future. We teach love, respect, compassion, courage, and tenderness — not only with words, but with the way we live."

Alejandra wrote about wanting to "honor every mother who gives everything, often quietly. Every woman who has kept going. Every mother who has sacrificed, healed, protected, cried, laughed, and loved with her whole heart."

"May we recognize the power of mothers more. May we support each other more. May we teach our sons to honor women, and our daughters to never forget their own strength."

She concluded with: "To all the powerful women, and to all the mothers creating a better world — I see you, I honor you, and I celebrate you. Happy Mother's Day 2026 — to everyone walking this journey with me, thank you."

Recently, Alejandra shared another collection of clips on Instagram, reflecting on the passage of time and wanting her boys to stay her babies for as long as possible. "Sometimes I wish time would stop," she penned.

"Let them stay small, looking at the world with such pure curiosity. Discovering every corner of nature as if it were the first time. Sometimes I wish I never let go of their hand."

"But life is also learning to accompany [them] as they grow up, to watch them open up to the world…and trust in all the beautiful things within them. Because in that mixture of innocence and discovery the best of human nature is also revealed."

The mom-of-three ended with: "And then you understand it's not about stopping time, but to live every moment with them as if it were eternal."
