Billy Ray Cyrus did something special for his ex-wife Tish Cyrus' birthday on May 13 – the star shared a video of himself singing in tribute to the big day.
Before beginning "Ready, Set, Don't Go," the star revealed: "Somehow this song felt very appropriate for today."
The singer appeared in a gloomy mood, as his hair hid his face while he played the guitar.
The lyrics to the moving song that first aired on Hannah Montana, are in part: "She's gotta do what she's gotta do/ And I've gotta like it or not/ She's got dreams too big for this town/ And she needs to give 'em a shot/ Whatever they are/ Looks like I'm all ready to leave/ Nothing left to pack/ There ain't no room for me in that car/ Even if she asked me to tag along/ God I gotta be strong."

Billy got sentimental as he captioned the video: "TRUE STORY. Dedicate this to Hannah Montana Nation and all our friends at Disney. 'Got stars in her eyes, the prize is hers to win.'"
He added: "Two of the greatest mothers EVER were born on this day and tomorrow – my mother Ruthie on May 14…and the mother driving Miley down that driveway as I wrote the song, 'Ready, Set, Don't Go.' Happy Birthday Tish. Wishing you peace, love, and happiness…forever."

Tish and Billy first began dating in 1991, and they tied the knot in 1993. Miley Cyrus was born in 1993, Braison Cyrus was born two years later, and Noah Cyrus was born in 2000.
Tish has two children named Trace, 37, and Brandi, 38, from her previous marriage to Baxter Neal Helson.
Billy also has one child named Christopher Cody, 34, from his previous relationship with Kristen Luckey.
