Kate Hudson's son Ryder Robinson wasn't the only one celebrating a graduation this month.
Last week, the Running Point actress' firstborn son officially became the first in his family to graduate from college, after completing four years at New York University.
He was celebrated by his mom, dad Chris Robinson, grandparents Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, and by his girlfriend, who had her own graduation to celebrate as well.
© InstagramFollowing the special week, Ryder's girlfriend Piper Lacy's mom, fellow actress Monica Lacy, took to Instagram and celebrated both her daughter's graduation from The New School as well as Ryder's graduation from NYU.
Among a slew of photos that she shared of her daughter's graduation, she included two photobooth strips featuring Piper and Ryder, both in their graduation caps and gowns, making a series of funny faces at the camera and even sharing a smooch.
She also shared the loved-up snaps to her Instagram Stories, and congratulated them both on graduating. The two have been dating for about three years, before which Ryder was dating fellow celebrity scion Iris Apatow, Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow's youngest daughter.

Following NYU's commencement ceremony on May 14, which is typically held at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, Ryder also took to Instagram and shared a photo of himself and his family posing inside a suite at the stadium, all clad in purple NYU merch.
The photo featured his younger brother Bingham, who also wore a cap and gown, as well as sister Rani, mom Kate, her fiancé Danny Fujikawa, his grandparents, plus Bing's dad Matt Bellamy.

Kate was married to Chris from 2000 to 2007, and was with Matt from 2010 to 2014. She has been in a relationship with Danny, with whom she shares daughter Rani, since 2016, and they have been engaged since 2021.
