Vanessa Trump revealed on Wednesday via social media that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and was receiving treatment to combat the disease.

"I've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer," she wrote on Instagram. "While this isn't news anyone expects, I'm working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan."

"I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me," the mother of five continued, before adding that she is "staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me."

"Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as l focus on my health and recovery." Vanessa's former sister-in-law, Ivanka Trump, took to the comment section to share her support, writing: "Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama."

Vanessa shares her five kids, Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe, with her ex-husband, Donald Trump Jr. The pair were married for 13 years until their split in 2018, and have maintained a friendship for the sake of their children.

2026 has been a year of major changes for the 48-year-old, as her eldest daughter, Kai, is preparing to move away from home and attend college at the University of Miami in August. The 19-year-old celebrated her graduation ceremony in May with her family and friends, including Tiffany Trump and Bettina Anderson, Donald Jr.'s fiancée.

Vanessa's partner, golf star Tiger Woods, quietly attended Kai's graduation ceremony but skipped out on her celebration dinner. He flew in from Zurich, Switzerland, where he is currently receiving treatment following his DUI arrest in March

Vanessa and Tiger have been together since early 2025 and announced their relationship on social media in March of the same year. "Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts," the athlete wrote on X

Tiger opted to step away from golf temporarily to focus on his recovery after he was arrested in March following a crash in Jupiter Island, Florida. Although he blew zero on the breathalyzer, Tiger allegedly refused to submit to a urine test, leading to his arrest.

"I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health," he shared in a statement. "This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery."

"I'm committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time."
