Buddy comedy romp Bridesmaids is still endlessly loved and eternally quotable. From competitive bridesmaid speeches to getting caught with food poisoning at a designer boutique, the 2011 hit captured friendship in all its chaos, humour and understanding.
It's 15 years since Annie snuck her way into first class and Wilson Phillips cameoed at Lillian's wedding – read on to find out what your favourite bridesmaids have been up to.

Kristen Wiig
As the star of and brains behind Bridesmaids, alongside director Paul Feig and co-writer Annie Mumolo, the 2011 hit owes a lot to Kristen Wiig's comedy talent. But the SNL star and Oscar nominee hasn't been taking it easy since.
Following Annie Walker's now-iconic cookie-punching meltdown, Kristen continued lending her voice to family favourites like How to Train Your Dragon and Despicable Me, and returned to Bridesmaids co-star Melissa McCarthy in 2016's Ghostbusters.

Maya Rudolph
Maya Rudolph's Lillian jumpstarts the plot with an unexpected engagement. But it's also crucial to Bridesmaids that Lil is the kind of friend you would go slightly mad at the thought of losing – and Maya certainly delivers.
After tying the knot with Dougie, she appeared in music star spoof Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, guested on Brooklyn Nine-Nine and 2013 coming-of-age comedy The Way, Way Back.

Rose brings the perfect Helen to life, who just so happens to be everything Annie feels like she's not
Rose Byrne
Bridesmaids wouldn't be what it is without a little friendly competition. Rose Byrne brings the seemingly perfect Helen to the screen in all her near-impossible chicness. But Helen has layers, and behind the angry tennis serves we see she's just as lonely as Annie.
After having an ugly cry, the Oscar nominated actress had another rom-com hit with I Give It a Year (2013), starred in Paul Feig project Spy (2015) and psychological drama If I Had Legs I'd Kick You (2025).

Melissa McCarthy
Melissa McCarthy's Megan has a talent for spotting air marshals and stealing puppies, but she also knows when to give you a hard truth. The two-time Oscar nominee has a talent for grounding the ridiculous and Megan is a fan-favourite because of it.
She's since starred in buddy comedy The Heat (2013) and road-trip adventure Tammy (2014). Melissa even joined back up with Bridesmaids alum Rose Byrne in 2015 for action parody Spy. The actress has also been open about her weight loss journey and relationship with her body after losing 95 lbs.

Ellie Kemper
Ellie Kemper's Becca starts out as a chipper newlywed in Bridesmaids, though her marital bliss is quick to descend to a quarter-life crisis over the course of the film.
It's a talent for this happy-go-lucky demeanour that had the actress star in The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt between 2015 and 2019, while her penchant for comedy earned her a role in The Office. More recently, Ellie returned to rom-coms in Happiness for Beginners.

Rebel Wilson
Rebel Wilson isn't on screen for much of Bridesmaids but she certainly makes an impression as Annie's roommate from hell. One particularly memorable moment comes when she reveals a large tattoo, offered for free and predictably infected.
Since then, Rebel's worked on iconic college acapella flick Pitch Perfect, dark comedy Jojo Rabbit and had several Netflix rom-com successes with Senior Year and Isn't It Romantic.

Matt Lucas
Matt Lucas is cast as Annie's roommate and brother of Rebel Wilson's Brynn. He certainly shows off his acting talents as the comedian becomes a dreaded passive aggressive presence on screen.
Matt has since appeared on 15 episodes of Doctor Who, Wonka (2023) and Gladiator II (2024). He has also worked as co-host of baking competition The Great British Bake Off with Noel Fielding.
