No matter what we do, all we think about is Kelly Rowland at the Forever Mine Festival this weekend!
The singer, 45, shut the house down as one of the marquee performers for the festival in Chicago on Saturday, May 23, with other headliners including Keyshia Cole, Jojo, and Juvenile.
And for the occasion, Kelly wore a stunner of a little black dress, courtesy of The Reismans, featuring full sleeves and a mini skirt with the entire mid-section cut out to reveal her toned abs.
The look was paired with her blunt bob, sheer fishnet tights, knee high lace-up black boots, and body jewelry that accentuated her figure even further. "Thank you to the @foreverminefest for having me! Thank you to my whole team for bringing it all together," she wrote alongside some photos shared on Instagram.
And it was her style that quickly earned plaudits, although not before her honorary mom Tina Knowles dropped in some praise with: "I heard you killed it. I love you."
Others left comments like: "You were amazing per usual!!!! My voice is gone from all the damn screaming," and: "Look great as usual!" plus: "The energy, the vision, the taste level? Yeah… grown and iconic. Reismans too," as well as: "Singing and bodied down."
Many others also shouted out her impeccable playlist, which included solo hits and collabs like "When Love Takes Over," "Dilemma" and "Motivation," plus Destiny's Child classics like "Soldier" and "Bootylicious."
We're almost halfway through 2026, but Kelly's not done putting on more and more dynamite shows just yet, teasing her slate for the year in an interview with L'Officiel in late 2025.
"I'm so excited to get back on the road," the "Work" singer gushed. "Touring is one of my favorite things to do. From the time I started rehearsals, I asked myself the same question: How do I make my show solely me? To do so I went inward. Fans can expect to see a lot more dancing. I just want them to have fun. And I want to have fun."
And it's not just touring fans can expect. "I've been in the studio, and I am pouring my soul into this project. I don't want to spoil it by revealing too much too early, but this is a more soulful me. I'm also getting more reflective and vulnerable." A new album would be a first solo LP for Kelly since 2013's Talk a Good Game.
Fashion was also a topic of conversation, with the star emphasizing her love for more experimental pieces and silhouettes, especially one that allow her to showcase her growing confidence in her body.
"Over the years I've become more experimental," she explained. "I'm confident in my body and know I'm in a place where I am wearing the look; the look is not wearing me."
As for her style today: "I like high-low fashion. I'm just as comfortable in couture as I am in a great pair of jeans and a T-shirt. But I do really love fashion – it's always about self-expression to me. When I find the outfit that matches how I'm feeling, that is the greatest win."
