David Boreanaz proved just how strong his genes are. The 57-year-old Bones actor posed for a photo with his son Jaden Rayne, 24, who looked more like his twin than his offspring.
In the photo, David wore a cream, v-neck sweater with black pants and shoes, and a gray fedora, while Jaden sported an all black ensemble, showing off his facial hair.
After the two stood together in Rittenhouse Square, a neighborhood in Philadelphia near where David grew up, the proud dad shared the photo with his one million Instagram followers, writing: "Never leave a brother behind. City of Brotherly love."

David's strong relationship with his son
The Buffy the Vampire actor is a dad-of-two. He shared Jaden and Bella Vita, 16, with his wife Jaime Bergman, 50. And while on screen, David often plays a tough guy, as a dad he's just like everyone else.
© WireImageIn August 2024, the actor helped move Jaden out of his New York apartment. "It was a test of patience!" he told People. "My son did most of the packing and setting it up for the new tenant while I helped from the outside, but it was a tornado."
Jaden was in the Big Apple for college. "He went to NYU, but he decided to take a break from it during the last year," David shared. He's an artist and a musician so he's staying true to his soul... you have to go with the beat of your heart."
In the years since leaving New York University, Jaden proved his acting skills. On May 8, 2026, he shared exciting news with his 25.6k Instagram followers. The 24-year-old posted a photo of a Deadline announcement about his upcoming work on NBC.

While neither Jaden nor David confirmed which project they will be working on together, the SEAL Team actor is set to star in an upcoming detective show, The Rockford Files. The show follows Jim Rockford, played by David, who was falsely convicted of a crime he didn't commit.
© Getty ImagesWhether the two will be working together on screen or not, David is a big fan of his son. For Jaden's 24th birthday, his dad celebrated him on Instagram with a series of photos set to "Happy Birthday" by Lenny Kravitz.
"Side by side Always…Happy Birthday to my son and best wingman a Father could ever dream of," David wrote. "You inspire me in JOY , laughter and Love. Never leave a Brother behind and Keep on, 'ROLLING ON!'…24 is BACK! Let’s all share a 'Happy Birthday' to this Beautiful soul."
