Jimmy Kimmel and his family are enjoying a few days across the country from their home.
Over the weekend, the veteran late night host shared a rare photo featuring his wife and two kids, as they spent some days in New York City.
The comedian, who is based in Los Angeles, has been married to Molly McNearney since 2013, and they are parents to two children, Jane, 12, and William "Billy," nine, plus he also shares Katie, 35, and Kevin, 33, with ex-wife Gina Maddy.
Taking to Instagram, Jimmy, 58, shared a photo with his wife and youngest two children, posing at a pier in Brooklyn, the Manhattan skyline and a fiery sunset behind them.
Jane with her blonde hair is the spitting image of her mom, who she is almost as tall as, while Billy has Jimmy's same black hair.
Other photos included one with fellow late night host Jon Stewart, and more with Paul McCartney, Howard Stern, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Amy Schumer, Robert De Niro, Spike Lee, Seth Meyers, John Oliver, Billy Crystal, Jon Hamm, Bernie Sanders, and various others.
Jimmy, who spent the last few weeks filming his show from Brooklyn rather than Los Angeles, wrote: "Thanks to the great people of Brooklyn for welcoming us so warmly. We are very full."
Fans were then quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it, with one writing: "It takes a very special kind of person to be both a New York celebrity and a Hollywood celebrity," as others followed suit with: "Billy looks exactly like Jimmy & Kevin. Jane looks exactly like Molly. So amazing!!" and: "Beautiful family," as well as: "GREAT week of shows Jimmy!"
Earlier this year, Jimmy opened up late night talk show landscape, his challenges with Donald Trump and the FCC, and the cancellation of Stephen Colbert's show — largely perceived as an appeasement to Trump so as to facilitate the merger of Paramount Global and Skydance Media — admitting to Vulture he feels "a little defeated by it."
"In a lot of ways, I feel like I'm looking at my own future," he added, referring, per the outlet, to the Billy Joel song "Allentown," which opens with: "Well, we're living here in Allentown / And they're closing all the factories down."
Jimmy then maintained that despite CBS' argument that The Late Show's cancellation was purely based on ratings and financials, "there are far more people watching late-night TV than there ever were, if you look at the number of views me and my colleagues get online every day and add in our linear-television ratings."
"We're not just dying of natural causes. We're being poisoned," he emphasized, noting that CBS had reportedly pushed Stephen to sign a five-year contract in 2023, he opted for three years, and they ultimately pulled his show only two years in.
